How it works
Every camera is watched continuously. A deliberate escalation rule decides when it's real.
RTSP over TCP, USB or file. CONNECTING → LIVE → RECONNECTING with capped back-off, so a dropped stream heals itself.
Frames are checked for fire and smoke around the clock, while the live video on the wall stays smooth.
A box counts only if it's fire or smoke, big enough, and its centre sits inside your detection zone.
X hits within Y seconds raises the alarm — killing the single-frame false positives a raw threshold can't.
Evidence JPEG, event log, alarm banner, pulsing tile, serial siren, e-mail and Telegram — all at once.

Detection zones
Stage lights, cooking areas, a red cooler, reflections off glass — every site has things that look like fire. Outline the area you actually care about and anything whose centre falls outside is ignored entirely.

Built for the control room
Five layouts — 1×1, 2×2, 1+5, 3×3, 4×4 — with automatic paging when you outgrow them. Double-click to spotlight any camera. Every tile shows live boxes, the zone outline, fps, latency and resolution. A silent feed is flagged STALLED after three seconds.
Drives an external siren or relay board. Configurable command bytes on alarm and on acknowledge, auto-detected port, and a one-click test signal.
Every alarm goes out with the evidence snapshot attached. Rate-limited, queued and never dropped — on its own thread, so the wall never freezes.

A watchdog restarts the app if the process dies or its heartbeat goes stale — and brings back exactly the cameras that were live.
